Sneaky Santa game

Every year in our Etsy team we are playing Sneaky Santa game...

This year was challenging for me, cause my Sneaky partner did no wish list.

I had to play around - use everything I knew about her to find/made perfect gifts for her.

So...

Leda is bookworm from Sicily, Italy who making beautiful felt accessories and bookmarks. She likes cards, earrings and definitely handmade stuff. I like illustrations she sharing on her FB.

I thought... book! But which one? She has so many and I have no idea which she still not have on her shelf... That was lots of thinking :) Result:

You can see movie made on this book in cinemas now!

One of my first attempts with copper - red semi-precious beads inside cages.

Pendant with stone found by myself on local beach during Summer.

Images from Ching's shop: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/gjzcck?ref=l2-shopheader-name, I coloured for Leda :) I thought she can like them :)

Little Christmas card with stamp from Tiddly Inks.

Leda received her parcel today and looks like she likes her gifts, so I can show you what I found/made for her :)

What do you think about my gifts? Do you like them?

Busy, busy.... :)

Happy receiver/buyer is like a balm on the heart if you know what I mean by that :)

Looks like my gift choices/makes for my Sneaky Santa partner were exactly this what she needed in the moment  - Merry Christmas Charlie!!!

Pic from her Instagram :)

Photos of blue set and Christmas card I made for her you could see in my previous posts, here rest of my makes for her:

Writing/stationary set  - this is my first ever done :)

Cute earrings from SelmaDreams etsy shop :)

Lovely card from Ilovemypencil shop - also Etsy :)

Now I'll be working on bracelet - Xmas gift for my partner's Mum - planning wrap bracelet :) and have card to make for Quick Cards Made Easy Design Team :) Beautiful papers :)

I'm also thinking about making similar jewellery set to this I made for Charlie, but in different colour scheme... maybe I add bracelet to it :)

Plus lots of paper wrapping is awaiting for my attention ( mostly gifts for my little boy)  :)

More jewellery - still more to learn :)

Bit more about jewellery making :)

I like wire wrapping, but still need more practise.

Beadwork is amazing - so many techniques, so many patterns, I just start to learn this and when lurking through pinterest I can see how much to learn I still have :)

Maybe one day I'll try dealing more with wires and metals and use some hammering :) I love copper jewellery :)

When I started with jewellery making I was using only silver plated components, later bit of copper and brass.

Here's my first jewellery set sold on Etsy

Bracelet was the hardest bit to do, I was restringing it three times before I decided that it is finally perfect :)

This delicate wired lapis lazuli bracelet was bought by Australian girl :)

I like chains when making bracelets, they are easier to use when want specific size of new piece.

Sometimes I was using other kinds of materials then wire or chain for my pieces, eg.

leather suede

waxed cord

Bit of beadwork :) Not easy, but after some practising - very satisfying :) Here few pics with started pieces -  we can say 'work in progress' :)

Here few finished pieces :)

Few pieces made for fun :)

And here something I made for my Sneaky Santa partner

I'm blue addict as you can see :)

That all for today!
