I love to make stamped cards :) but die-cutting is also nice technique :)

Cardmaking

I was thinking how long I'm making cards, when I started... 9-10 years ago... maybe...

I remember one thing for sure - first card I made for my Dad and to be honest I didn't like it, cause looks so childish, not exactly as I wanted - but from other side my Dad loved it, so I decided to learn properly how to make cards.

First I found some books in local library, then I bought some online, then join craft club in local community centre, then my friend - very talented cardmaker - offered that she will teach me few things and we are meeting almost every Friday and crafting or just chatting :)

And here is my first ever printed in craft magazine card and also my first sold on Etsy card :) This card was also first one I made under close eye of my crafty friend.

My real name is Monika. I call Northumberland, UK  - my home (second home - I'm not born and bred Geordie). Sorry if I'm not grammatical but I never was good with grammar :)

I always loved to read - total book worm me :) - my parents fault :) My faves: Agatha Christie, Alexander Dumas, Stephen King, Jack Higgins, Andrzej Sapkowski, David Gemmel, David Eddings, Peter Tremayne, Bernard Knight and many, many others :)

I love travelling, sightseeing and learning more about places I like.
I'm not bad with cooking too - at least that what I heard from my boys ( big and small :)).

I'm crafting since few years - cardmaking was first, then I started to play with jewellery making.
