Busy day :)

I hope my little boy ate something from his Xmas lunch at school - will find out later :) Ehh kids and their fussy eating :)

Bracelets for my partner's Mum finished and packed for being send out :) Both bracelets are stretchy as she asked for.

I had bit of wrapping today :) Lots of boxes for my little boy plus few things for his Daddy, my parents and my partner's Mum :) That how my floor looks before wrapping

Total madness :) Busy time when you want to have all prepared.
Crazy week here...

Yearly boiler check - done.
Xmas gifts - just need wrapping.
Xmas cards - need send out 3, rest I will place in neighbours' letterboxes :)

Christmas Opening Day in my boy's school - nice, full of kids and crafts :) Dom was decorating biscuit ( he ate it straight away after he finished), making glittery Xmas card, and Xmas tree, colouring bauble with crayons and making Xmas cracker with sweeties inside and we wrote a letter to Santa with glueing pics of toys Dom wants for Xmas :)

School Xmas lunch - tomorrow.

Need to plan what kind of cakes/desserts we prepare for Xmas time, will we eat turkey or chicken this year.

I really like these papers from QCME magazine, made not one but four different cards :) Will send them one soon, but first make a photo :)
Also cards with Lili of the valley stamps are almost ready - they need only sentiments.

Here's my first attempt of bracelet for my partner's Mum

She doesn't like gold (I'm not using gold components anyway), so I make it in silver and blue. I was thinking about one more in different style in silver, black and white combo. 

Busy, busy.... :)

Happy receiver/buyer is like a balm on the heart if you know what I mean by that :)

Looks like my gift choices/makes for my Sneaky Santa partner were exactly this what she needed in the moment  - Merry Christmas Charlie!!!

I'm also thinking about making similar jewellery set to this I made for Charlie, but in different colour scheme... maybe I add bracelet to it :)

Plus lots of paper wrapping is awaiting for my attention ( mostly gifts for my little boy)  :)

Bit more about jewellery making :)

I like wire wrapping, but still need more practise.

Beadwork is amazing - so many techniques, so many patterns, I just start to learn this and when lurking through pinterest I can see how much to learn I still have :)

Maybe one day I'll try dealing more with wires and metals and use some hammering :) I love copper jewellery :)

When I started with jewellery making I was using only silver plated components, later bit of copper and brass.

Bracelet was the hardest bit to do, I was restringing it three times before I decided that it is finally perfect :)

This delicate wired lapis lazuli bracelet was bought by Australian girl :)

I like chains when making bracelets, they are easier to use when want specific size of new piece.

Sometimes I was using other kinds of materials then wire or chain for my pieces, eg.

leather suede

waxed cord

Bit of beadwork :) Not easy, but after some practising - very satisfying :) Here few pics with started pieces -  we can say 'work in progress' :)

Jewellery - gift for Mum needed :)

Yeah, that how my jewellery making starts :) I needed gift for my Mum :) She is always up to date with fashion trends - not like me :) I'm tomboy happy with pair of jeans and T-shirt :)

I was cheeky and asked her what colours are in the season :) In that time in fashion was whole spectrum of browns plus beige. So I decided I buy tiger eye beads and silver plated chain and components and make bracelet and necklace for her. Unfortunately didn't make pic of this set, but she still wear it :)

In about the same time I make few other pieces.

Necklace from this set I gave to our lovely neighbour for her birthday.

This set not exist any more, just restring it few months later...

Still have this funny necklace - actually I made two of them :)

I totally re-model this pair of earrings few months ago

To be honest with you, I love to make earrings and bracelets :) and made lots of them - if you check my etsy shop you can find there around 30 pairs of earrings and 30 different bracelets :) 

I love to play with seed beads when making earrings, eg.

Bracelets made with seed beads can be also cool :) Seed beads are very useful when making jewellery, and to be honest with you they don't have to be expensive ones.

I think I'll show you few other pieces in next post :) Specially little set I made for my Sneaky Santa partner :)
